Macricostas Entrepreneur of the Year Award Breakfast

MACRICOSTAS ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD BREAKFAST: The WCSU Foundation invites the public to attend the WCSU 2026 Macricostas Entrepreneur of the Year Award Breakfast to honor George Mulvaney. He established Mulvaney Mechanical in 1981, which has grown to one of the largest mechanical contractors in Western Connecticut. Mulvaney Mechanical has worked on many area construction projects. Some of the more high-profile local projects are multiple Clean Room expansions at ASML in Wilton and building expansions at Boehringer Ingelheim. Other projects have included the ice storage cooling facility at the VA Hospital in West Haven as well as numerous other chemical, bio-pharmaceutical and industrial projects throughout the area.

In 1985, Mulvaney established Mulvaney Properties. From his first commercial real estate investment property until today, he has developed Mulvaney Properties, which has investments in Connecticut as well as Florida. In Connecticut, there are nine residential properties and 11 commercial properties in the Greater Danbury Area. In Florida he has seven investment properties.

The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with  Networking at 7:15 a.m. and Breakfast at 7:45 a.m. at The Amber Room Colonnade, 1 Stacey Road, Danbury.
