EXHIBITION – LEGACY OF THE LINE: THE WORK OF LESLIE COBER AND HER FATHER ALAN E. COBER:
September 3 – October 4, The Gallery in the Visual and Performing Arts Center on the Westside campus.
Legacy of the Line celebrates innovation and continuity across generations by exploring Leslie Cober’s vibrant artistic vision, while revealing how these qualities echo her father’s revolutionary expressionist approach that transformed post-war American illustration. Each artist forged a distinct path – Leslie through award-winning, uplifting illustrations; Alan through his gritty, journalistic style. The exhibition illuminates the artistic threads connecting their remarkable bodies of work.
